Living in a society made-up of super powered beings, Kyah undergoes an experimental treatment to become one of them. However, as her body and mind begin to change, the intentions of the lab responsible begin to unravel.

Director Statement

"Kyah" was created to explore a story where the extraordinary is grounded in deeply human struggles — a thriller that uses superhuman abilities not just as an idyllic spectacle, but as a metaphor for a person's sense of self, manipulation, and control that shapes the narrative into an unsettling atmosphere. The short plants the seeds of consequences: a power that may not be a gift. I see "Kyah" not just as a narrative, but as a gateway into storytelling that merges thrilling concepts with grounded thematic-first filmmaking beneath the genre tension.
